Angular Abode

A Strictly Vaastu compliant house, designed for mixed use of spaces on a narrow trapezoidal corner plot abutting the road on its north as well as east side.
The client had a major budget and material constraints, despite which the building is traversed through contemporary expression of design and hence pushing the extents of the house beyond its physical boundaries and making optimal use of floor space.
The edges of the site when projected on a vertical plane (Y-axis), creates a framework for the facade of the building. Thus separates it from the rest of the mundane neighbourhood. A pop of yellow is added to the cool white walls to create a warm light throughout the day which invites and balances the aesthetic.
The vertical offset of the building allows maximum sunlight which reflects the energy of the family that live there.
